Our Heraldic Animal
The Chameleon (Greek "Earth Lion") is an extremely multifarious animal. It exists in 160 subspecies and is in a complex way perfectly adapted to its environment and its needs, it lives in leaves and trees, on the ground and in caves. It adapts itself to the heat as well as to the cold and is rightly considered a master of color change. This color change does not serve as mere camouflage, as it is widely believed, but is a form of communication. Its possible range of colors is almost unlimited. The independently movable eyes allow a tremendous vision due to their special structure and offer a fascinating spatial perception. The chameleon constantly scans the environment for interesting objects to then focus it with two lenses.
With all its characteristics it perfectly fits with us and therefore it has been our heraldic animal for many years. Whenever and wherever you see Dr. Flux, you know that the specialists of Klenke Druck are actively at work again.
Why Dr. Flux? Flux means "flow" in the physical sense, describes a module called the space-time bridge, as well as a trend in art called Fluxus. Fluxing describes process and test engineering and Fluxtronik is a term in nanoelectronics.
